•  ಕಡೂರು ಪುರಸಭೆಯು 1889 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯಾಯಿತು.
•  ಕಡೂರು ಪುರಸಭಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 23 ವಾಡ್ ಗಳಿದ್ದು 23 ಚುನಾಯಿತ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಹಾಗೂ 5 ನಾಮನಿರ್ದೇಶಿತ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
•  2011 ರ ಜನಗಣತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕಡೂರು ಪುರಸಭೆಯು 34,187 ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
•  1862 ರಲ್ಲಿ ರಚಿತವಾದ ಈಗ ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವ 'ಕಡೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ'ಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಗಣ್ಯತೆ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಾಗಿದೆ.
• 1942 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯು ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಎಂದು ನಾಮಾಂತರಗೊಳ್ಳುವವರೆಗೆ 82 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಕಡೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಎಂಬ ಅಭಿಮಾನದಿಂದ ಕಡೂರು ಮೆರೆಯಿತು.
• ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಡೂರು 2 ನೇ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಪಟ್ಟವಾಗಿದೆ.
• ಕಲ್ಲತ್ತಿ ಗಿರಿ, ಕೆಮ್ಮಣ್ಣು ಗುಂಡಿ, ಮದಗದ ಕೆರೆ ದೇವನೂರು ಹತ್ತಿರದ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಣಿಯ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಾಗಿವೆ.
